چکیده

Double-membrane gliding parachutes (DGP) obtain their wide variety of application, including the solution cargo transportation problems. This parachute is a flexible canopy, which shape maintained by ram air. In terms aerodynamic performance calculation and analysis when operating, DGP most complex aero elastic system. The computation DPG only possible, utilizing methods nonlinear aerodynamics theory elasticity methods. paper investigates characteristics stable geometric shapes for various parachutes, taking into account dome both chord-wise span-wise. Notably, volumetric profile modeled its median surface. research, conducted authors, showed that such an model allows you to results reflect correctly qualitative effects detached free streamline flow. To solve problem about airflow over parachute, considering canopy curvature, method discrete vortices with closed frames employed, calculate paragliding wing within range angles attack. There also possibility flow separation simulation. ideal incompressible liquid surface double-membrane regarded. fabric porosity not analyzed, since upper lower panels are made either low permeable or non-porous fabric. separated past, coefficients identified time averaging large values after computing. given at different value shape, as in separation. computed coefficients, allow us consider influence on characteristics, obtained. proposed technique can be used operational estimates forces while designing planning pipe experiment.

Aerodynamic Shape Optimization of an Adaptive Morphing Trailing Edge Wing

Adaptive morphing trailing edge wings have the potential to reduce the fuel burn of transport aircraft. In this paper, we quantify the aerodynamic performance benefits of a morphing trailing using aerodynamic design optimization. The aerodynamic model solves the Reynolds-averaged Navier– Stokes equations with a Spalart–Allmaras turbulence model. A gradient-based optimization algorithm is used i...

Aerodynamic characteristics of dragonfly wing sections compared with technical aerofoils.

During gliding, dragonfly wings can be interpreted as acting as ultra-light aerofoils which, for static reasons, have a well-defined cross-sectional corrugation. This corrugation forms profile valleys in which rotating vortices develop. The cross-sectional configuration varies greatly along the longitudinal axis of the wing. This produces different local aerodynamic characteristics. Analyses of...

the central purpose of this study was to conduct a case study about the role of self monitoring in teacher’s use of motivational strategies. furthermore it focused on how these strategies affected students’ motivational behavior. although many studies have been done to investigate teachers’ motivational strategies use (cheng & d?rnyei, 2007; d?rnyei & csizer, 1998; green, 2001, guilloteaux & d?...

Aerodynamic Shape Optimization of Wing and Wing-Body Configurations Using Control Theory

This paper describes the implementation of optimization techniques based on control theory for wing and wing-body design. In previous studies [18, 19,221 i t wasshown that control theory could be used to devise an effective optimization procedure for airfoils and wings in which the shape and the surrounding body-fitted mesh are both generated analytically, and the control is the mapping functio...
